Properties close to the beach
The choice is yours, pop down to the nearest or local beach or travel a few miles up the road for that hidden gem where you might be the only person. Remember that unlike Britain, there are many private beacheswhere you will be expected to pay a nominal fee to use their facilities. Much of the coast is not commercialised at all, so finding a beach without towering concrete blocks behind it is very easy.
The sea is invariably vivid blue and crystal clear, plus it is nice and warm till late in the autumn. Peaking in August the sea temperature in Puglia reaches about 26 degrees and is still over 20 degrees in October.
Things to See and Do
When the children have had enough of splashing around in the pool why not take a trip to one of the nearby beaches or other activity centres that the whole family can enjoy together.
