We had a wonderfull week in Trulli Dei Due Pini. The kitchen was well equiped, airco working fine, all rooms were clean, beds were OK, towels and linen OK. We had a nice welcome on our arrival and a nice goodbye when we left from Barbara who has good advice on the region. There's a nice pool and enough shade when it gets too hot in Puglia. In short, a great place to stay.
Stayed here for a week in May 2024 with our 4 yrs old daughter and another couple. We picked the villa as there is a separate trulli which worked perfectly for us so everyone had some space. The main villa has an amazing generous kitchen / dining, which leads onto the covered terrace which overlooks the pool. The villa is set in an olive grove and feels very private, and set back from the road which we hadn't realised from the pictures. The trulli rooms are all lovely and it was great to stay in a traditional house whilst having the generous new extension for living and another bedroom. Everything felt very new, it was well appointed and the host was super friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again in the future! Having not been to Puglia before the villa is very well located for all the main 'tourist' spots, c.20-30mins to everything you might want to see.
Trulli Dei Due Pini has it all. Wonderful secluded property with a perfect pool, we enjoyed a week of bliss roaming in the beautiful locale and just relaxing at the property. The local food is simply to die for, strongly recommend Cibus in Ceglie, and a trip out to Ostuni to the Piazetta Catterdrale. Even the local produce from the supermarket is divine, and cheap! I will certainly be going back to the Trullo again, the host made the booking so easy, and was able to share recommendations and welcomed us when we arrived with directions. Book this holiday, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed! I'd give this far more stars if it were possible!
Oh my goodness, where to start? We feel like we hit the jackpot with this traditional Puglian trulli, which is simply stunning & I can't recommend it highly enough. Me, my wife & 2 of our daughters (ages 16 & 20) stayed for 2 weeks in July 2023. If we'd had the opportunity to stay for 2 more, we wouldn't have hesitated. Everything about the property is stunning & has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The beds are comfortable, the layout is both interesting (in a good way) & spacious. Huge kitchen, amazing swimming pool & just a privilege to wake up in every day. We spent most of our days at the pool, although did venture out for 2 beach days. The property is accessed by a long, private driveway, which is flanked by beautiful flowers & an abundance of fruit trees, fresh rosemary, etc. A car is essential for getting out and exploring the neighbouring towns. Each of them breathtaking & everything you would want from a holiday in Italy. We loved Locorotondo, Ceglie Mesapica, Ostuni, Martina Franca & Alberobello. Ask the owners for restaurant recommendations. They suggested 5 or 6 to us & each one was delightful - ranging from €4 pizzas to a couple of amazing Michelin Star options (book ahead of time though).
