Trullo Uccello was nothing short of a dream! Every element of our stay was perfection, from the design, the location, the garden, the amenities, and our gracious host Barbara. We experience both warm and cold weather as Puglia was entering fall, which we loved as we were able to enjoy the gorgeous pool on warm days and make a fire and have a relaxing bath on the coldest days. We received fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Our favorite recommendation was a restaurant called Giardini 36, only 6 minutes down the road! Trullo Uccello and Cisterino was a magical place and we can't recommend it enought. We will definitely be back soon!

Love all the homely touches, you have created a beautiful space. This has been our first visit to Puglia but we hope to be back, so much more to see. Fabulous book of recommendations, the most comprehensive we have come across! A visit to the Masseria Il Frantoio was definitely a highlight on Saturday nights. Thanks to Barbara and team. We had the most fantastic, last minute week at Trullo Uccello. Its setting amongst the rolling hills, proximity to Cisternino and the attention to detail all created a truly unforgettable week. We spent so much time in the pool and its proximity to the kitchen was perfect as we could always keep an eye on the kids. The bedrooms are all extremely comfortable and if you appreciate design, the whole Trullo, inside and out, has been styled meticulously. We really appreciate all the thought that has gone into making this such a stunning space. The main bathroom is stunning. Sadly we didn't get to use the oversized bath as we were having to much fun outside, but we will have to come back another time! Thank you also for the gorgeous soaps and generous supply of towels. We loved that we were welcomed with a fantastic and very generous selection of Puglian food including pasta, taralli, fruit, and also a good supply of water to keep us going. Barbara who met us to show us the house is brilliant; so knowledgeable and warm and friendly and was always on hand to give advice when needed throughout the week. Don't think twice about booking. Thank you for having us!

I stayed here in May, weather was perfect not too hot but hot enough. The house is beautiful, well thought out & caters for your every need. The pool is perfect for cooling off. The outdoor kitchen was great I loved cooking outside. Found the place very tranquil no traffic noise which was so nice, just the wildlife. Swallows skimming the pool in the evening was lovely to watch. Local cafe Almond 5 mins down the road perfect for morning coffee. Just a short drive to Cisternino. A great place to kick back and relax.

Trullo Uccello is simply stunning - a haven of peace and tranquillity with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It has been carefully and tastefully restored to the highest standard, luxurious bed linen and a perfect pool, while retaining every aspect of its original charm and beauty. It was such a treat to wake up to breathtaking views of olive groves and in the evenings we watched glorious sunsets as we sipped our wine. The outside kitchen was a treat on hot days and the fireplaces made for cosy, romantic evenings (we stayed in October). Sometimes we took a short (10-minute) stroll through the country lanes to have breakfast at the local pasticceria before heading to picturesque Cisternino (5 mins by car) with its winding cobbled streets, traditional white-washed houses, artisan shops, family-run restaurants as well as a choice of supermarkets. The location is superb - the trullo is perfectly positioned to explore all of the Valle d'Itria and its many historic hilltop towns (Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, etc) as well as Puglia's superb beaches. We can't recommend Trullo Uccello more highly, and look forward to a return visit!

Incredibly well appointed and beautiful trullo with a fabulous pool with stunning views in a secluded part of the Valle D'Itria only 5 minutes drive from Cisternino. This trullo is well thought out with an outdoor kitchen and great WiFi. Would definitely return in 10 years of holidaying in Italy this is my favourite place by far.
