Casa Kit
Entering in from the front door you will find the main living area:
LOUNGE area
A lovely light space with a large two seater sofa and two armchairs. Watch TV or a DVD on the flat screen nearby or simply relax with a book. There is a free standing lamp should you require more light. The novel coffee table also contains some magazines and books and in the side dresser there are cards, board games and some guide books.
DINING AREA
The dining table seats 4 people and can easily seat up to 6 using other chairs found around the villa.
KITCHEN
The large fully kitted kitchen area comprises of a large sink, five ring gas hob with extractor above, full size oven, dishwasher, large free standing fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and Nespresso capsule coffee maker. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, pot and pans for you to cook delicious food. You will also some spices and olive oil on arrival.
From the main living area the corridor leads to
MASTER BEDROOM
This lovely room which is light and airy contains a large double bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is a double wardrobe for hanging items and two large chests of drawers. There is a wall hung TV and a large feature mirror by the bed. This room has air-conditioning.
The window has blackout blinds and shutters to keep out the light
ENSUITE BATHROOM
The ensuite bathroom has a wash hand basin with mirror and light above, large walk in shower with rainwater fixed head and separate attachment, bidet, toilet and towel rail. There is a small cabinet for storing your toiletries. The window with blind looks out onto the side of the villa.
BEDROOM 2
This room has a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, two double wardrobes to house all your clothes and a chair nearby. This room has air-con and the window looks out to the side of the property.

ENSUITE BATHROOM
The ensuite bathroom has a large wash hand basin with mirror and light above, large walk in shower, bidet, toilet and towel rail. There is also a chest of drawers for storing your toiletries. The window with blink looks out onto the courtyard.
From the corridor a door leads to outside:
COURTYARD
This spacious courtyard has a huge stone table for al fresco dining and can seat up to 8 people.
There are various seating areas including an outdoor sofa and two armchairs, modern deck chairs, sun lounger, umbrella for shade etc. It is well lit, has an outdoor sink and nearby you will find the large gas BBQ. All this contained within the walls provides a cosy, romantic outdoor setting.
There are also two wonderful well established trees in the courtyard which you are welcome to pick the fruit from, an orange and a grapefruit, fantastic for breakfast or juicing!.
Leading from the courtyard area are two arches which are gated and take you to the pool and gardens or the table tennis area. Both of these gates can be locked with a key, therefore you can be sure your children cannot reach the pool area from the back of the property if you have locked them.
OUTDOOR BATHROOM
The outdoor bathroom is reached via a door in the courtyard and has a wash hand basin with feature mirror and light above, bidet, WC and towel rail. Here you will also find the washing machine, ironing board and iron.
POOL
For serious swimmers this pool is a delight, as it measures 13m long, so great for doing lengths. It is entered via the steps in the shallow end and at its widest point measures 5m. It is 1.5m deep
Surrounding the pool you will find plenty of sun loungers, sun chairs, hammock, table and chairs and umbrellas for shade should you require it. Nearby there is a pool shower.
GARDENS (Front and back)
The garden is well stocked with established plants, shrubs, trees and grassed areas which are well lit at night.
LAND
The land is full of old olive trees which are great to explore. The boundaries are enclosed by fencing, walls and electric gates.
PARKING
After you have entered the electric gates on the right there is shaded parking for 2 cars and plenty of space for turning around.

We can also supply free of charge a Z bed, suitable for up to a teenager.
We also have a travel cot and high chair available on request, free of charge. Please note we do not supply linen for the travel cot as often babies have sensitive skins, this you will need to bring.
Entertainment: As well as the large pool, you will also find an outdoor table tennis table, badminton and some floats for the pool
All windows have mosquito screens.

Nearby:
The town of San Vito dei Normanni is around 1 km away and can easily be reached on foot. Part of the walk to town joins a regular jogging, walking and cycling area for the locals. In town you will find plenty of café/bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours and the centro storico (old town) comes alive at night.
Beaches:
The nearest beaches are 9km away on the Adriatic coast; the protected marine reserve of Torre Guaceto, Specchiolla, Santa Sabina, Torre Canne are great places to try. Santa Caterina, Gallipoli, Port Selvaggio, Porto Cesareo on the Ionian coast are about 50 minutes away, as are the beaches in the Lecce direction. We like San Cataldo.
Shopping:
There are lots of shops in town, however there are also 2 shopping malls within a 20 minute drive of the villa at Mesagne - Auchan and IperCoop. Open 7 days a week, great places for stocking up groceries, something quick to eat and a general browse.
Sight Seeing:
Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Brindisi and Carovigno are all nearby. No visit to Puglia would be complete without visting some of the major towns: Lecce (also known by the locals as the Florence of the South), Otranto with a visit to the castle, Gallipoli, Grottaglie, famous for its ceramics also Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Cisternino for their interesting old towns and great restaurants. At the villa you will find lots of information on what to do and see in the area.

Masseria Torre Coccaro - 9 hole (par 27) - 40 minutes drive
Acaya Golf - 18 hole (par 71) - 55 minutes drive
Riva dei Tessali - 18 hole (par 72) - 1 hours drive
Airports:
The nearest airports are BRINDISI at 20 minutes drive and BARI at 1 hour 15 minutes. The drive from Naples take around 5.5 hours and is very easy.

A deposit of 50% is payable by bank transfer or sterling cheque to secure the booking,with the remainder payable 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.
FREE WELCOME HAMPER
- A small welcome pack pack will be provided just to greet you. The local shops which is 5 minutes drive away is open 7 days a week.
- The villa will be cleaned, beds made up with fresh linen and clean towels. Each person is provided with a pool, bath and hand towel
- You will already find toilet paper, pump soap, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and cleaning materials, sponges and cloths to get your stay off to an easy start.
- Included in every rental on arrival are some assorted Nespresso coffee capsules. If you require more, compatibles are available in the supermarkets nearby along with some tea, coffee and sugar.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you have to cancel your holiday any refund due will be made on the following basis:
120+ days or more notice - 100% refund of deposit less admin fee of £150
60-120 days notice - 50% refund of deposit less and admin fee of £150
Less than 60 days notice having paid in full - 25% refund of total paid less an admin fee of £150
Less than 30 days notice having paid in full - no refund unless the dates have been resold less an admin fee of £150
If any of the cancelled period is re-let, a pro rata refund will be made based on the rental received and any refund already made. Admin fees are non-refundable.
Puglia Holiday Rentals will not be liable for any bank or other transfer charges resulting from a refund.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
Should local legislation, either in Italy or your home country, prevent you from travelling because of COVID-19, the cancellation policy for this would be:
50% cash refund, or
100% transfer of the money received against a stay at the property on an alternative date and for the same number of nights.
If any of the cancelled period is re-let, a pro rata refund will be made based on the rental received and any refund already made less an amount of £150.00, administration fee. Admin fees are non-refundable.

Big plot of land with beautiful gardens. Lots of outdoor space to sit and eat/relax. Lovely pool area with sun and shade so can be used all day. Good sized and well maintained pool. BBQ and table tennis table were great additions. Modern bathrooms and good showers in both bedrooms.
Lovely property for family, fantastic pool and gardens. Clean and lots of different seating areas around the property. Great location for visiting other places and very I formation information booklet in the property. Few minutes drive to the supermarket but we did not attempt to walk to local town/restaurants so unsure if doable. Mariella, who checked us in was very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We have had a wonderful holiday in Casa Kit. The house lived up to our expectations. The surroundings are beautiful. The pool area is nice and the pool large and clean. Mariella was a wonderful host who suggested really good places to eat and good beaches. Nice walking distance to the most beautiful town of San Vito Dei Normanni. We already miss Casa Kit.
We have just enjoyed a week at Casa Kit. The outside area is absolutely stunning! Such a well kept garden, full of fruit trees and herbs. It is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Best bit of all was being looked after so well by the lovely Mariella! Thank you!

A return to this lovely villa and pool in Puglia. I would recommend to anytime wanting peace and tranquility. A lovely garden with fruit trees such as cherry, apricot, fig and pear. Io direi che non c'è una casa pui bello in cui io abbia mai stato.
The property is a good size, very clean and well maintained with everything you need. The outside area and pool is beautiful and has lots of different seating areas. Mariella the lady who looks after the property is amazing. She responds to any queries within minutes and always on hand to help if and when it's needed. I would definitely recommend this property.
Sehr großes gepflegtes Anwesen mit einem tollen Pool und einem Haus in dem alles vorhanden ist.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Hier kann man sich sehr gut erholen. Die Verwalterin Mariella ist super. Bei Problemen ist sie sofort da und hilft. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Man kann von da aus viel unternehmen. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind in fünf Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht. Bei der Ausstattung könnten vielleicht Kleinigkeiten erneuert werden, wie z.B. die verrosteten Gartenstühle, oder ein neuer Topf. Aber das sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und haben dem Urlaub und der Erholung nicht geschadet. Apulien ist ein wunderschönes Land, das man unbedingt mal besuchen sollte. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit im Casa Kit.

Very nice and practical holiday home! Super pool, to enjoy for the whole family. The house is perfectly located to discover Puglia the sea and the nearby places. Clean, well maintained to the air conditioning everything works, even the security alarm system. If help is needed, the housekeeper lives next door.

Mariella has been absolutely fantastic and so accommodating making this wonderful villa feel even more like home. Our places to visit include: Carovigno, great places to eat and have drinks, gelato in the labyrinth of streets and visit the castle. Ostuni (thw white city) , Matera, Alberobello, Monopoli and the local restaurant in San Vito dei Normanni called Nonna Mena. Puglia is such an amazing place and there is so much to be discovered, even if you just drive around and take a walk. It was so much fun just coming back to the villa and being able to jump in the lovely pool!
The villa is very well equipped and we have enjoyed a wonderful stay. Mariella is awesome. Extremely helpful, taking care of every single detail. We can only be thankful for the attention and kindness. We have felt at home and we should definitely recommend this nice place and thank Mariella for all the help. Enjoyed the pool very much but also the beaches, Togo Bay beach (west coast) and Pilone (east coast). We ate well; twice at La Locanda di Nonna Mena (book in advance, outside is better, but very small); once in Ostuni which was stunning where we ate at Osteria Del Tempo Perso (book ahead as very busy), once in Osteria di Giuseppe in Ceglie Messapica (book ahead) - all amazing anti pasta and foodie spots - lastly one night in @ BBQ. Mariella looked after us well and lastly to just say thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
The villa is perfect for a family of 4. We had a splendid holiday exploring Puglia. Mariella the lady who manages the property (lives next door) treats you like family. She is absolutely amazing, my children are going to miss her. I highly recommend this villa, you will not be disappointed.
The villa is beautiful and the swimming pool is perfect. The landscape is very nice with olive trees and cactus and cities around such as Lecce or Bari have to be visited. Some mosquitos to bother you but except that, our journey in Villa Kit was perfect. Thank you very much to Mariella who has welcomed us as kings :-)
It has been a very relaxing holiday from start to finish. Our children (7 and 4) have really enjoyed the "home to home" feeling and have felt safe here. The villa itself is well equipped. Now let me tell you about Mariella...... Wow! What an amazing lady, she couldn't do enough for us and was wonderful with our children. She is kind and really looks out for the residents of Casa Kit. We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Kit. The villa was well equipped and the pool and garden lovely. A big bonus for us was being able to walk into the nearby town for shopping at the market and evening meals. Mariella the housekeeper made sure that everything was perfect for our stay.
